Different Gecko Breeds
Leopard gecko breeding!!HELP?
Ok, so i just received a pair from lllreptile, they are amazing, but i put them together in a 20 gallon breeder, with 3 different hiding spots.. will they still breed or do they HAVE to have seperate cages and then put them together?Can i keep them like the forever?
Its a breeder tank so it is quite large, they dont mind each other, i just want to keep them in peace, and try to breed them when they get acclimated
They should be separate at all times unless they are being bred, and this wouldn’t take long. If they are left together all the time then the female will get extremely pestered by the male, she would be breeding continuously(the male would be literally raping her all the time), and this would put her under a lot of stress, and put a lot of strain on her body. For the health of the female it would be best to have her separated.
